Emily J. Barber, along with her father and three siblings, is a Partner in State Line Auto Auction, a wholesale automobile auction located in Waverly, NY. Prior to returning to her hometown in 2012 to manage State Line, she worked for BNP Paribas in Human Resources Information Systems, and began her career at Toys”R”Us in Human Resources Management.

Mrs. Barber is very active within the industry.  She has served on the board of Auction Edge since its inception in 2012.  Mrs. Barber is also a current member of the National Auto Auction Association Board of Directors, as well as a member of the NAAA Legislative Committee.

Outside the automotive industry, Mrs. Barber assists in the oversight of various family real estate ventures.  Mrs. Barber also serves on the Board of Directors for Tioga State Bank.

Mrs. Barber received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
