Icie Hinton is a trailer shop technician with Fleet Services by Cox Automotive, the leader in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for fleets nationwide. She joined Cox in 2022 after graduating from FleeTec Academy, an intensive training program that teaches diesel truck and trailer maintenance skills from the ground up.  

Hinton is also a participant in Women Who Wrench, a mentorship program that pairs female technicians with leaders in the industry. She is the creator of Project Pink, an initiative that features pink uniforms for female technicians to celebrate diversity and support breast cancer awareness. Hinton is passionate about her work and hopes to inspire more women to pursue careers in the transportation industry.  

She is also a member of the board of directors for the Growing Indy Group. This non-profit organization provides education and training programs and support services for justice-involved families and individuals throughout Indianapolis.
