David Blake’s passion for the auto auction industry began at the Auto Auction of New England in 1994. Initially hired as a janitorial and maintenance technician, he was at once drawn to the industry and spent nineteen years with AA of New England. During that time, his responsibilities ranged in progression from:  maintenance, lot management, reconditioning, arbitration, customer service, operations, as well as serving the last 10 years of his tenure as the General Manager. 

In 2014, Dave joined the McConkey Auction Group as the General Manager of DAA Seattle and now serves in a VP role. He is an active member of the auction industry and has served as President, Treasurer and Chairman of the Board of the NAAA’s Eastern and Western Chapter as well as Co-chair of the IAG (Independent Auction Group). Dave is currently the Director of the Independent Auction Group. 

When he is not at the auction, Dave enjoys traveling, motorsports, volunteering with his church’s youth group and several recovery programs, riding his Harley, watching sports and spending time with those he loves – his children, family, and friends. He is an avid reader and sports enthusiast who enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest. 

Dave never forgets his humble beginnings and displays a tremendous amount of gratitude for the blessings he has received during his journey. He believes living life with intention, discipline and healthy habits supplies him the strength, perspective, and energy to serve others.
